Research Theme

My researches aim at understanding cognitive deficits in severe and persistent mental disorders better , particularly schizophrenia and bipolar disorders.

My two main lines of research are:

1°) cognitive neurosciences with the exploration of the cerebral basis of deficits in social cognition and metacognition in schizophrenia.

2°) clinical epidemiology with the exploration of neuropsychological performances measured with extensive cognitive batteries in cohorts of patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. The objective is to better characterize psychiatric disability in severe and persistent mental disorders to prevent it and help rehabilitation.
